Supervisor - Funds

Organization: SGGG Fund Services Inc. (“SGGG”) is a growing Fund Services company that deals extensively with the “hedge fund” industry. We are currently growing our business into the mutual funds (retail), pooled funds, and offshore funds area.

Currently we are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join our experienced team. A qualified individual will gain knowledge and experience in a very vital area of the Canadian financial industry. We welcome the opportunity to meet with qualified candidates for the role of Supervisor - Funds.

Responsibilities:

• To manager/supervise a group of three to five fund accountants and senior fund accountants
• To review daily, weekly, or monthly net asset values for assigned clients for accuracy in a timely manner
• To develop a professional and productive relationship with clients and coworkers
• To develop your industry and work knowledge in order to further your opportunities and growth
• To develop and produce semi annual and annual financial statements
• To assist the manager in distribution calculations and tax preparation
• To organize and coordinate the training and development of fund accountants

Requirements:

• Minimum five years fund accounting experience, in a daily or monthly valuation environment, with two years at a supervisory capacity
• Completion of an accounting designation (CGA, CMA, etc)
• Broker or other back office accounting experience an asset
• Fluent in both spoken and written English is a requirement. Knowledge in French is an asset.
